Stone Farm

Stone farm is set in peaceful surroundings, very close to the coast. It is a 200-acre working dairy farm where you can watch the milking. Take a walk across the field to the cliff path, which leads to sandy Whitsand beach. Coastal walks take in the ancient chapel at Rame Head, the quaint fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, both with a small beach and pubs, and the beautiful Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, which is within three miles. Plymouth is a short drive or passenger ferry away: visit the Hoe, Barbican, Plymouth Dome, National Aquarium or take a boat trip around the Sound. The Retreat has been restored with beamed ceilings and the original stone walls to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. It is on the 2nd floor and offers two bedrooms with hand basins (1 double bed and 3 singles in all); bathroom with shower over and WC; kitchen/diner with fridge, cooker, dishwasher and microwave; lounge with colour TV/video. The Studio is situated on ground level and has been tastefully decorated throughout. A spacious property overlooking the croquet lawn, the accommodation offers 1 double bedroom; bathroom with shower over and WC; kitchen/lounge/diner with cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and colour TV/video. Both properties share a laundry room with washing machine and drier. Linen is included; towels are available for hire, cot + high chair available, electricity is on a £1 coin meter.
