Superb accommodation, only one mile from the beach and within easy reach of all main attractions, beautiful woodland and coastal walks.
Trengove is in the heart of the country yet only twenty minutes' walk through an attractive wooded valley, to the sandy beach at Portreath. It is so convenient to explore Cornwall from Trengove, as the A30 is only a five-minute drive away. The Eden Project, Land's End, St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount, historical sites, lovely gardens and spectacular coastal scenery are within easy reach.
The cottages are all individually furnished with character features, such as stained glass, stone walls and granite fireplaces. William Burgess, a notorious smuggler and illegitimate son of The Lord of the Manor, once lived in the farmhouse. The Roundhouse might have been where Richard Trevithick, inventor of the first steam locomotive, installed some of his early machinery.
All cottages have electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and colour television. The bathrooms have heated towel rails, toilet, wash basin, shower and many have baths. Bed linen is included in the price, cots and high chairs are available and there is a laundry room and a pay phone.
New for 2007. Wireless Broadband and childrens play area.
